Dhralduum's Instruments, Muspar'i

*Note -- I'm not posting tools, just instruments. Also, you will note some differences in the Muspar'i shops, as they are more akin to merchants than stores, from a mechanics standpoint. This is reflected in their references.


Percussion Instruments
a finely sanded white ironwood tapani stained with chains of ebony knotwork - 2200 L
Look Description- The tapani is a double-sided drum formed of a circle of finely sanded white ironwood stretched across with two pieces of hide. The hide is laced in place with lengths of stiffly braided black and grey cord. Running parallel down the middle of the tapani are three chains of ebony knotwork that have been stained into the pale ironwood, the middle one substantially larger and more intricate than the simpler braids bordering it.
a pale birch darje stained with circles of ebony knotwork - 5000 L
Look Description- The darje is fashioned from a membrane of leather stretched over a laminated birch ring that has been stained with small circles of ebony-hued knotwork. Along the edge of the darje pairs of brass disks are loosely attached, designed to clap together when the darje is struck.

Wind Instruments
a black ironwood yarghul fitted with engraved silver bands - 5000 L
Look Description- The yarghul is a double-chambered wind instrument fashioned from two reed-like black ironwood tubes that have been fitted with a second, slit reed, though one is noticeably longer than the other. Silver bands engraved with intricate knotwork have been placed at the base of the mouthpiece and the joins between the reeds, framing the finger holes placed upon the shorter tube.
a bleached bamboo shakuhachi banded with engraved silver rings - 1800 L
Look Description- The shakuhachi is a mellow bamboo wind instrument with a mouthpiece hole near the top, located just below the notch in the bamboo segment that forms its end. Silver rings engraved with chains of elaborate knotwork have been placed over each of the notches in the bamboo segments down the length of the shakuhachi.
a darkly stained bamboo shakuhachi banded with ivory and garnet rings - 2500 L
Look Description- The shakuhachi is a mellow bamboo wind instrument with a mouthpiece hole near the top, located just below the notch in the bamboo segment that forms its end. Silver rings engraved with chains of elaborate knotwork have been placed over each of the notches in the bamboo segments down the length of the shakuhachi.
a pale minjayrah stained with a sweep of ebony stars - 550 L
Look Description- The minjayrah is a simple wind instrument formed from a single reed.
a lacquered black oboe with delicate silver fittings - 2750 L
Look Description- The oboe is a long woodwind bearing a set of double reeds near the top that may be blown through. Silver filigree bands, fashioned from fine wire that has been woven into a pattern of intricate knotwork, have been placed at the base of the mouthpiece and below the series of finger holes along the oboe's front, near the end.
