Melodies of the Earth, Muspar'i

*Note -- I'm not posting tools, just instruments. Also, you will note some differences in the Muspar'i shops, as they are more akin to merchants than stores, from a mechanics standpoint. This is reflected in their references.

Stringed Instruments
a golden stained pi sitar with engraved brass fittings - 2000 L
Look Description - The pi sitar is a smaller version of its cousin, the sitar, but the characteristic long neck and gourd-based soundbox show it to be the larger instrument's twin in all but size. Five strings course down the neck to frets place near an ornamental gourd on the pi sitar's soundbox.

Wind Instruments
a bleached bamboo shakuhachi banded with engraved silver rings - 1800 L
Look Description - The shakuhachi is a mellow bamboo wind instrument with a mouthpiece hole near the top, located just below the notch in the bamboo segment that forms its end. Silver rings engraved with chains of elaborate knotwork have been placed over each of the notches in the bamboo segments down the length of the shakuhachi.
a polished mahogany zurna banded with engraved brass rings - 5000 L
Look Description - The zurna is a long, slender wind instrument carved from polished mahogany that flares outward slightly at the end. Brass rings, each engraved with a chain of intricate knotwork, have been placed below each fingerhole and at the end of the mouthpiece, which is composed of a single reed with a disc at its base.

Look Description - The minjayrah is a simple wind instrument formed from a single reed.
a polished mahogany mitbiq fitted with polished silver bands - 5000 L
Look Description - The mitbiq is a double-chambered wind instrument fashioned from two reed-like mahogany tubes that have each been fitted with a second, slit reed. Polished silver bands have been placed at the base of the mouthpiece and the joins between the reeds, framing the many finger holes placed on each tube.
