S'hhtrkith's Instruments, Muspar'i

*Note -- I'm not posting tools, just instruments. Also, you will note some differences in the Muspar'i shops, as they are more akin to merchants than stores, from a mechanics standpoint. This is reflected in their references.

Stringed Instruments
a polished mahogany sarangi patterned with delicate ivory inlay - 6500 L
Look Description - The sarangi is a long, box-like affair that curves slightly inward at the middle on the sides, where slivers of ivory have been inlaid to form graceful wrens flying amongst sunbursts. a polished birch sarangi patterned with delicate ebony staining - 5000 L
Look Description - The sarangi is a long, box-like affair that curves slightly inward at the middle on the sides, where layers of charcoal-grey and ebony stains have been skillfully used to depict wrens in flight over a sweep of stars. Three gut strings run up the sarangi's length, across a bridge that is supported upon a length of stretched hide to the top where it is secured by long tuning dowels bearing knobs on either side.

Percussion Instruments
an oiled golden oak tapani fitted with brass knotwork filigree - 1900 L
Look Description - The tapani is a double-sided drum formed of a circle of laminated golden oak that has been rubbed with reddish oils and covered at each end with a piece of circular hide. The hide is laced in place with lengths of stiffly braided crimson and white cord, their ends carefully tucked away so as not to obscure the brass wire knotwork that has been riveted to several places along the tapani's side.
a black ironwood tapani inlaid with ivory knotwork chains - 2000 L
Look Description - The tapani is a double-sided drum formed of a circle of polished black ironwood stretched across with two pieces of hide. The hide is laced in place with lengths of stiffly braided blue and ivory white cord. Running parallel down the middle of the tapani is a single chain of elaborate knotwork fashioned from slivers of ivory inlay.
a stained mahogany darje inlaid with abalone and pearl suns - 7500 L
Look Description - The darje is fashioned from a membrane of leather stretched over a laminated mahogany ring that has been carefully inlaid with slivers of iridescent abalone and pale pearl to form the images of blazing suns. Along the edge of the darje pairs of silver disks are loosely attached, designed to clap together when the darje is struck.

Wind Instruments
a golden oak yarghul fitted with lapis and ivory bands - 7500 L
Look Description - The yarghul is a double-chambered wind instrument fashioned from two reed-like golden oak tubes that have been fitted with a second, slit reed, though one is noticeably longer than the other.
