Lute of the Roses
Owned by: Troubadour Dewsong de Rosa, The Bard of the Roses
Tap Description: An inlaid rosewood lute
Look Description: The soft red sheen of rosewood has been enhanced by thin pieces of emerald and wine-kissed ruby arranged in a wreath of rose blooms along the lute's sounding board. Engraved on the neck just below the strings, are the initials "DdR" in silver scrollwork.
My signature instrument for a number of years, this lute remains my primary instrument, no matter how certain mages seem to want me to change because of some highly faulty premise.
Iremember when I was having it altered, there was some question about the idea of "wine-kissed rubies," but they just fit in so well with my reputation and the overall concept that I got away with it.

Aqualung
Owned by: Daerlynn Soulmyste-Falconsong, Coordinator of the Arthe Dale Concert Series
Tap Description: an iridescent platinum flute set with tiny star-shaped diamonds and tied with a gypsy scarf hanging from the end
Look Description: an iridescent platinum flute set with tiny star-shaped diamonds and tied with a gypsy scarf hanging from the end. The highly polished platinum shimmers through a multi-hued translucent glaze, beatifully offset by the clear brilliance of the star-shaped diamonds set into each key. The gypsy scarf dangling from the end adds the flamboyance and showmanship gypsy musicians are known for.
Daerlynn was awarded this flute at the story-circle the final night of the Bard Faire, by vote of all bards present.

Mitbiq of the Fae

Tap Description: a pale white ironwood mitbiq with painted decorations weaving among the finger holes

From the Journal of Elenelear: "This mitbiq is my most treasured instrument. It was painted by Esmaril D'Or during one of his surprize visits to the Crossings Guild, upstairs in the the Conservatory, for a few silver and a kiss. I used this instrument for my performance of "Fallow Fields" during my Arthe Dale concert."
