Currently, oboes are only available in Muspar'i, Therengia. The Muspar'i instrument merchants are different from those of other cities in that instead of ordering instruments, and customizing them, they are more akin to wandering and festival merchants. All of their instruments are premade to exacting standards, already flashier than standard customizations.

From Dhralduum's Instruments:
- a lacquered black oboe with delicate silver fittings - 2750 L
- Look Description -- The oboe is a long woodwind bearing a set of double reeds near the top that may be blown through. Silver filigree bands, fashioned from fine wire that has been woven into a pattern of intricate knotwork, have been placed at the base of the mouthpiece and below the series of finger holes along the oboe's front, near the end.
From Latanaara's Musical Wonders:
- a lacquered red oboe with delicate brass fittings - 2500 L
- Look Description -- The oboe is a long woodwind bearing a set of double reeds near the top that may be blown through. Golden-hued brass filigree bands, fashioned from fine wire that has been woven into a pattern of intricate knotwork, have been placed at the base of the mouthpiece and below the series of finger holes along the oboe's front, near the end.
