One of the tricks I like to use to name characters in some of my stories and songs is what I call the language trick.

First, you need to become familiar with such references as the Gamgweth Dictionary and the "smudged parchment" on Ilithic. Then, identify certain characteristics of the character I am about to name. Next, translate those characteristics into the other language. Finally, combine those translations in various ways until a working name is achieved.

For Example:

Let's say our character is a Warrior Mage. He specializes in fire and water magics. He is also a coward and a graverobber. Working with Gamgweth, we can get several words and translations from this:

Now we'll combine varied words on this list...

Gathaes Gweljaal Achoblar
Achoraes Gathachor Tyvaes
Camjaal Tyvagweld Blarjaal

Finally, a decision... And thus Gathaes Tyvagweld is born.
