Gemshorns are Medieval German instruments that resemble recorders in many ways. Originally, they were made of animal horn instead of wood. Gemshorns have a more husky tone than recorders and were primarily used for dance music, particuarly in polyphonic groups.Gemshorns are currently only available from Teshi's Instruments, Aesry Surlaenis, Qi'Reshalia, with the following custom work:
