Currently, shakuhachis are only available in Muspar'i, Therengia. The Muspar'i instrument merchants are different from those of other cities in that instead of ordering instruments, and customizing them, they are more akin to wandering and festival merchants. All of their instruments are premade to exacting standards, already flashier than standard customizations.

Look Description -- The shakuhachi is a mellow bamboo wind instrument with a mouthpiece hole near the top, located just below the notch in the bamboo segment that forms its end. Silver rings engraved with chains of elaborate knotwork have been placed over each of the notches in the bamboo segments down the length of the shakuhachi.
a darkly stained bamboo shakuhachi banded with ivory and garnet rings - 2500 L
Look Description -- The shakuhachi is a mellow bamboo wind instrument with a mouthpiece hole near the top, located just below the notch in the bamboo segment that forms its end. Ivory and garnet rings, each banded with thin lines of silver, have been placed over each of the notches in the bamboo segments down the length of the shakuhachi.
